Big Christmas Giveaway *ended*

It is now the first of December, the countdown to Christmas has officially begun! I know Christmas can be a difficult time of year for a lot of people so I am doing this giveaway to make one of your Christmases a little easier.

Little Lauren's Blog

To enter this giveaway, all you have to do is complete the gleam entry form above. To enter, it is mandatory to make someone smile this Christmas, that doesn't mean you have to do it right now, you have 24 days to complete this challenge! There are many things you can do such a give a gift to Refuge to support women and children escaping domestic violence, donate a care package or money to your local charity or reserve a place for a homeless person this Christmas to ensure they have a hot meal, clean clothes and good company. If you don't have the money to spare there are lots of things you can do; tweet someone to wish them a Merry Christmas, donate your unwanted clothes to charity (Clothes for Charity is a great way to do this), surprise a neighbour by baking them a Christmas cake or volunteer some of your time to help someone in need. Whatever you do will surely put a smile on someone's face, make sure to use the hashtag #MakeSomeoneSmileThisChristmas to let me know what you're going to do!

This giveaway is open to UK residents only and will run for one week from the 1st of December until the 8th. There will be one winner who will win all that is pictured above, which includes Peter Andre's White Christmas CD and latest album Big Night, Ocean Escape Duo and Beanie Set, Lavender Candle and Diffuser Set, Festive Family Christmas Round Tin and Christmas Tree Cookie Cutters. The winner will be notified via email the next day when the random draw will take place. If you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments or tweet me @littlelaurensbl. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

  2. What a lovely idea for an entry to giveaway. Someone very close to me had to use a women's refuge a few years ago. Without it she wouldn't have been able to make a clean break, and now she is free of the horrible situation she was in.
I actually had a monthly donation set up to Refuge but let it lapse, so I will be making sure it is set back up- thank you for reminding me. I am also planning on baking people cakes this Christmas- I have got back into baking, it's very soothing.
Thank you for reminding me how lovely it is to be lovely to others. x

  49. Thank you for such a fantastic giveaway. I love that this time of year brings about lots of good deeds and kind acts from people. I try and keep this alive all year round if I can. I regularly go through my items and donate plenty of goods to different charity shops. Sometimes there are one or two homeless people and I like to get them a hot drink or something to eat if I have the change available. And if it counts I always like to take treats into work for my colleagues or buy them lunch :)

  54. I sometimes volunteer my time for free to listen to people struggling with issues online.. mental health, relationships, suicide etc.. it's often teenagers that end up talking to me and it always makes me smile when they finish the chat having felt much better for talking about their problem and are thinking about seeking proper help. If I stop someone from self harming or ending their life there's no better feeling in the world. It's great when I manage to make someone smile who was so depressed before that they were thinking about ending it all.. sometimes a little human contact and someone to listen is all is needed. #MakeSomeoneSmileThisChristmas

We ask anyone that would have bought him a present to donate the money to the three charities that helped us. East Anglia children's hospice, our local nicu, and Hanas gift, who helped us fund his headstone. So far through various events we've raised over £10,000, hoping to donate another £1000 this Christmas x

  97. I volunteer at the stables at Deen City Farm, an inner city farm in Merton, South London. They have 12 rescued horses and ponies and rely on public donations to house & feed them and the other animals. To help stretch their budget, I have taken on the task of repairing the horse & pony rugs, some of which were in a terrible state with lots of holes & tears, to make sure that the horses & ponies stay warm over winter. I'm also making "reindeer antlers" for the ponies to wear when they give pony rides in the run-up to Christmas, to make it more fun for the little riders.

  98. #MakeSomeoneSmileThisChristmas There is an elderly lady about 5 mins walk away (Miss Meadows) I cook for her throughout the year a couple of times a week and my mother takes it to her and sits with her for a few hours. We do this every week...It should just be a gesture of help/good will at Christmas, we should all do more throughout the year.. At Christmas even though she refuses to leave her home and we have tried to persuade her to come to us or a club, we hand deliver to her a full Christmas dinner complete with wine and sherry, Christmas pud and cracker
