Christmas Gift Guide For Women

Christmas is just over a month away - yay! I'm sure it seems to be coming around quicker and quicker each year! Christmas is my favourite time of the year; so much happiness, togetherness and cosyness which I love. Nothing really does beat the feeling of wrapping up in the biggest fluffy blanket with the fire on, a marshmallow and cream filled hot chocolate in one hand, with a mince pie in the other watching your favourite Christmas film with the ones you love. To help you feel more relaxed about the mammoth task ahead of buying presents for everyone you know, quickly stir yourself a hot chocolate, wrap up in a blanket and take a look and be inspired by my Christmas gift guide for her. Hopefully this will take away some of the panic of not knowing what to buy for your friend/sister/mum and give you some ideas for when you start your Christmas shopping (If you haven't started already).

The first set of presents are for those who are in need of a nice, relaxing treat; ideal for mums to enjoy after the stress of cooking Christmas dinner for what feels like a hundred people or for your best friend who loves nothing more than a cosy night in. Books are great Christmas gift, whether that be for a Secret Santa, stocking filler or gift wrapped under the tree, everybody loves to have fresh new books. To make it feel that bit more special, why not get a copy of your sister's favourite book in special edition like this gorgeous puffin in bloom edition of the classic novel 'Little Women'. Little Women is a beautiful book, portraying the special sisterly bond between four sisters. Set during the time of the Civil War in New England, the story of Little Women follows the struggles that four young sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy face due to the heartbreaking fact that their family have lost all of their money. Even though times are tough, this doesn't stop the infectious sense of fun that is portrayed in their adventures. The story follows the girls' adventures as they grow older and learn how to overcome their own obstacles through all of their hard times, sisterly squabbles, happy times and even heartbreak. This book is heart-wrenching, gripping and inspirational; it's a book that everyone should read and would make the perfect gift for girls of all ages! To save money, SocialBookCo is the perfect place to go as they do all the hard work of finding the cheapest place to buy a book for you. Whilst your saving pennies in a matter of seconds, maybe you could treat yourself to a book too!
Candles always make a great gift; a home can never have too many candles! These festive candles from Bomb Cosmetics are the perfect gift option if you're struggling on ideas for what to buy someone. What's better than a pretty, festive and Christmassy scented candle?! The two festive candles above are the 'Santa's little melter' and 'gingerbread cookies'. Santa's little melter would look super festive upon the fireplace with the cheery red colour. The inside of the candle makes this one that bit more special with the magical golden glitter and berry red hearts. This candle smells exactly like Christmas! By that, I mean it smells rich and fruity, almost like a mulled wine with top notes of tangerine, soft cinnamon and spices. As you can imagine, gingerbread cookies smells of freshly baked sweet gingerbread and looks so cute too! For those that don't particularly enjoy Christmassy scents or would prefer something more fresh, 'caramel and pink pepper' and 'mystical moon' would be a good option. Caramel and pink pepper is a gorgeously girly pink candle that smells of black pepper and sandalwood. My personal favourite is the mystical moon candle which is the freshest scent out of all of the candles. This is the perfect candle to light when you want to relax and has notes of refreshing lavender and geranium.

A radio would be a great gift for the whole family to enjoy. If your looking for a stylish radio, then View Quest is great as they have a variety of designs with a range of colours and patterns so you can personalise it to your mum's/friend's taste. The 'Christie' has a futuristic vibe with the rotating control panel which enables you to have the radio both landscape and portrait depending on the aesthetic you're going for. The sky blue colour is stunning and I love the detail from the leather around the sides - it's so pretty! Christie features DAB, DAB+ and FM radio which means you have access to a whole range of stations across the UK and Europe; it's the perfect gift for music lovers. Alternatively, you also have the option to play music from your own library or other services such as Spotify. The radio also comes with the necessary wires, however you can put batteries in the back, so no need for ugly wires!

Around this time of year, there are many Christmas blogger box swaps and you may also a few blogger friends in real life too to buy for. If you're struggling for blogger gift ideas then take a look at PrezzyBox. There is so much marble-y, copper goodness that I'm sure any blogger would be so happy to receive. Cute accessory for the home? Check! Great photo prop? Check! *Almost* every blogger owns/wants a bit of marble (we love the aesthetic and can't get enough), so why not add more to their collection? The marble coasters are the perfect gift for those who like style in their home. They look so pretty and make any table look instantly sophisticated and very on trend. Another great gift for a blogger are fairy lights, in particular, copper fairy lights! They make the home look super cosy at this time of year too. Sticking with the copper theme, the tea light holder below would make a lovely gift, perhaps wrapped with a couple of scented tealights. The geometric design is very striking and unique; a lover of interior would love this gift!

Next up are the gifts for beauty lovers. Makeup and perfume are a real treat and are always well received. Perfume is a really luxurious gift, but can get quite expensive. However, there really is no need to spend a fortune when you have unique fragrances at the Library of Fragrance for an amazing price, only £15 to be exact. A Christmassy perfume would make a great gift at this time of year like gingerbread or Christmas in New York. The gingerbread cologne smells like freshly oven baked gingerbread men with hints of cinnamon spiciness and a touch of delicate vanilla - it's truly delicious and my favourite smell at this time of year. Pixie dust is perfect for those who like sweeter scents. This magical spray smells of delightfully sweet strawberries and would be a great gift for younger little princesses. Does your mum love to bake? The vanilla cake batter perfume would be great for her. Your sister is the biggest book-worm? She'll love the paperback scent! Do you and your best friend love nothing more than going to eat pizza together? Then the pizza fragrance would make such a thoughtful gift! If you know someone who would love to receive one of these lovely perfumes this Christmas, then you can enter my giveaway here for your chance to win one.

Makeup is the best gift for any beauty lover. Boots always have an extensive selection showcasing lots of lovely Christmas gift sets and special edition items from your favourite brands. The N07 sets look particularly spectacular with their super festive designs and sparkly glitter. There's a stylish winter nudes nail collection - which is perfect for all year round, a beauty haul vault and an ultimate eyeshadow palette, as well as many more beautifully packaged gifts. With sparkles sprinkled all over, the stroke of midnight eye duo is perfect for those who love a bit of glamour and love a striking and dramatic eye look. I love how sparkly the mascara bottle is, it's so pretty! Another makeup brand that does well with their limited edition collections are Too Faced. Their Christmas range looks really fun this year (the grande hotel cafe looks particularly dreamy)! Merry Kissmas is sure to be popular and on plenty of beauty lovers' Christmas lists; complete with four clutch-sized tubes of their best selling melted lipstick in Chihuahua and Fig, melted chocolate in the shade honey and a vibrant red melted matte which is great for the festive season. My favourite is the red melted matte as it's so bright and cheery and is the perfect Christmas day lipstick!
