Affordable stocking fillers with Rex London

Christmas can get very expensive. Food, presents, entertainment, and even more food and drink can add up to a hefty sum. If you're on a budget, this time of year can be particularly difficult so it's always great to find ways to save where you can. Did you know that the average stocking costs around £70 to fill? That seems like a crazy amount to me. Rex London recently got in touch to see if I could create a stocking for half that price. Carry on reading to see how I did!

Rex London has so many lovely gifts and home accessories, all at an affordable price ranging from bags to toys, stationery, and bakeware. I decided to create a stocking for my 3 favourite ladies; my mum and my two sisters. I've really set myself a challenge here. Is it possible to fill a stocking for 3 people on a budget of £35? Yes, it is!

I live a few hours away from home and my youngest sister is away at university so times like Christmas are really special. The idea behind creating the stocking for my mum and sisters is to create a lovely memory. I have chosen things perfect for a Christmassy pamper night that all of us girls can enjoy. The first thing I chose were these colourful lipstick pens. They look super fun, make a great stocking filler and are also great for the girly pamper night if we decide to play some games.

The next thing I chose to go in the stocking were these adorable, sparkly butterfly tealight candles. This is something that we can all enjoy on our pamper night. If you're creating a Christmas stocking for someone then these pink tealights would make a great gift. To save even more, why not share them out and put a few in each stocking?

Next, I decided to pop in a 'main gift'. I chose a coin purse for both my mum and sisters that I know they will like. The cloud and kitten purses are so cute and make great budget-friendly gifts. I chose the blue floral coin purse for my mum as I think that is more her style!

When I saw the animal face masks I couldn't help but add those in. How cute are they?! I think my favourite is the tiger. I hope there are no arguments over who wants which one! This is also a fun addition to our Christmas pamper/girly night in. While watching a Christmas film (with a glass of mulled wine), we can all relax with our funny face masks on. There are 3 animal face masks to choose from; the happy mouse moisturing mask, happy tiger firming mask and the cute panda brightening mask.

My mum loves coffee so I had to put this adorable hedgehog coaster in for her. For just £1.50, this makes a fantastic little stocking filler for all the coffee lovers out there. Another gift that I thought might be fun to add that everyone can use are cake cases. Rex London has so many lovely baking accessories that are very inexpensive. My idea behind putting the cake cases in the stocking is that we could all do some festive baking together. I can smell the gingerbread cupcakes already!

All of these items came in at £34.05. That's a huge saving on the average £70 stocking and IT WAS FOR 3 PEOPLE! I know that my mum and sisters will love all of these gifts. If you're looking for an affordable place to shop for stocking fillers then Rex London is the place to go.
